Happy Memories from 2024: A Year of Connection, Celebration, and Achievement
Reflecting on 2024, we are reminded of the countless unforgettable moments that made this year so special for the HSCPN community. From the beginning, our mission has been to foster meaningful connections, and this year, we truly saw the fruits of that commitment.
Our meet-and-greet sessions in Manchester, Reading, and Slough were more than just events – they were opportunities for members to connect, share experiences, and inspire each other. These gatherings weren’t just about professional networking; they became spaces where friendships blossomed, collaborations were born, and new ideas were sparked. Each city brought its unique energy, and every participant added their voice to the vibrant tapestry of our community.
The highlight of the year was undoubtedly the Christmas Gala in Slough on November 23rd. It was a celebration of not just the season but also the spirit of unity and gratitude that defines HSCPN. The room was filled with laughter, warmth, and a shared sense of achievement. From heartfelt speeches to moments of pure joy on the dance floor, it was an evening to remember and cherish.
Beyond the events, 2024 was also a year of remarkable achievements for our members and leadership. Our Chief Executive Officer, Godfrey Mushandu, received several prestigious awards, including the Forttuna Global Award in Dubai. His outstanding contributions to leadership and the health and social care sector were rightfully recognised on an international stage.
Additionally, Joy Kapesa was honoured in a truly memorable way, standing in the House of Commons in Hillingdon. Invited by the local Member of Parliament and acknowledged by the Hillingdon Chamber of Commerce, Joy was celebrated for her exceptional work as a small business leader and her contributions to the community. These moments of recognition for our leaders are a source of pride for the entire HSCPN community.
Throughout the year, we also celebrated personal and professional milestones within our network. Together, we cheered on achievements big and small – from new partnerships and premium memberships to the steady growth of our free membership platform, which now boasts over 1,600 health and social care providers. We’ve seen the power of community at its finest, proving that when we support each other, there are no limits to what we can accomplish.
These memories are a testament to the strength of our network. They remind us of the shared journey we’re all on as health and social care providers, striving to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Every smile, every conversation, and every moment spent together this year has reinforced the idea that HSCPN is more than a network – it’s a family.
